I feel like I was born with drumsticks in my hands—though thankfully not literally, because that would’ve been both alarming and anatomically impossible. What is true is that I started banging on things early and never really stopped.
Since then, I’ve wandered through more live bands than I can reasonably keep track of, the highlights being The Impacts, Avalon, The Bastard Kings, The Shreds, The Jackson Taylor Band, Random Manor, Two Sheds Jackson, and the seminal Seattle band, The Heats.
These days, I’m still happily overcommitted as a drummer, playing with Brian James Was Here, Petty Thief (Tom Petty Tribute), Bell Bottom Blues (Eric Clapton Tribute), Feelin’ Alright (Joe Cocker Tribute), and GeorgeFest (a celebration of George Harrison). I also look forward to upcoming shows and music events that keep my passion for performing alive.

Now based in the Pacific Northwest, Brian, a skilled drummer, plays regularly—both solo and with his live band—mixing originals with a smattering of unique covers. His country-soul voice, easy charisma, and modern edge pull in listeners across genres and generations. Whether it’s a small room or a big stage at music events, he brings the same thing every time: heart, craft, and a show that keeps people coming back for his upcoming shows.
